Village Hall Goes Green (and just in time!)
(December 10, 2011)Thanks to a wonderfully generous private donation, and just over £2000 from the former Rampton Meadow and Woodland Group Trust, the Village Hall has (just) beaten the December 12th cutoff and fitted 15 shiny new solar pv panels to the main hall roof. Not only does this greatly improve our green credentials, but will help to reduce our ever increasing electricity bills. Many thanks to our Treasurer Chris for making this happen and especially to Upbeat Energy Ltd. for pulling out all the stops to get everything fitted in time.
