Rampton Tea Club: The Chivers Story
Rampton Tea Club welcomes residents from Rampton and other Fen Edge Villages twice a month on a Tuesday for a friendly chat or to hear a stimulating talk. We have Tea & cake. Cost is £3 -cash please-. We meet at Rampton Village Hall 2.30-4.30pm.
Tuesday 7th July- The Chivers Story: an illustrated talk by local historian Eleanor Whitehead, based on her book of the same name. Eleanor will take us through the fascinating history of the iconic Histon‑based, family‑run jam and jelly company, exploring its rise as a major local employer and a pioneer in canning and cold‑storage innovation
