Rampton Tea Club: Lord Fairhaven and Anglesey Abbey
Rampton Tea Club welcomes residents from Rampton and other Fen Edge Villages twice a month on a Tuesday for a friendly chat or to hear a stimulating talk. We have Tea & cake. Cost is £3 -cash please-. We meet at Rampton Village Hall 2.30-4.30pm.
Tuesday 12th May – Lord Fairhaven and Anglesey Abbey
An illustrated talk by Helen Ackroyd, a distinguished National Trust speaker and experienced guide at Anglesey Abbey tells the story of this former priory and its last private owner Lord Fairhaven who landscaped the grounds and made extensive additions to the house for his collections.
